The challenge
Ice Quest, an entertainment and leisure facility in Worcester, wanted to reduce its environmental impact and energy costs and significantly lower its carbon footprint.
The main goal was to generate as much clean energy as possible each year to help keep the ice rink running.
What we installed
Our team carried out a detailed site survey to find the best panel placement and analysed Ice Quest’s energy consumption patterns to design a system around its needs.
We also coordinated with the DNO and other authorities to obtain the necessary approvals.

The result
The system produces 70,000 kWh of clean energy a year, covering a substantial portion of Ice Quest’s energy needs and delivering considerable savings on electricity bills.
It reduces Ice Quest’s CO2 emissions by 11,000 kg a year and gives the business a reliable energy source that helps protect it against future energy price rises.
